THE NEPTUNE AQUATICE CENTER HAS AGAIN OPENED IT DOORS TO US TO TRAIN FOR FREE!!  Starting April 1, you can swim for free, please just give your name as a Spring Lake guard and they will let you in.  Have fun!

Neptune Aquatic Center is hosting a triathlon on June 15 for the first time.  It is designed for all levels of experience and if you are interested you can come to work late that day after the race. Here is the info:

Swim - 200 yards (8 laps in the pool)

Bike - 3 miles

Run - 1 mile

Check in is at 6:30 a.m., race starts at 8:30

You can register by cash, check, visa, discover or mastercard that day or register on line at www.neptuneschools.org and click on the tab for the Aquatic Center.

TO REGISTER FOR SWIM TEAM AND/OR JUNIOR GUARDS.

SWIM TEAM

1. Click on boro web site

2. Click on BEACHES.

3. Click on the link for "community pass"

4. Click on CREATE NEW ACCOUNT, or sign in if you already have and account, and follow the steps

5. Then under "REGISTER NOW" select either SWIM TEAM or JUNIOR GUARDS, and follow the steps to register.

We will NOT have a meeting before Memorial Day Weekend.  I will send schedules out after the swim test on May 18 by e-mail.  If you are scheduled to work and cannot, please let myself, Tony, Ed or your crew chief for that day know.  Remember, during pre-season you might sit at any crew and scheduling will be done by experience, and all paperwork completed.  You may start picking up suits next week and I will get the rest of your uniforms out over pre-season.
